Grade-Level Specific Lessons:
- Kindergarten: Three lessons focused on the body, our health, and emotions.
- 1st Grade: Five lessons focused on the body, brain, health, emotions, and medication safety.
- 2nd Grade: Five lessons focusing on the body, brain, health, emotions, and pressures.
- 3rd Grade: Eight lessons focused on the body, brain, the brain on substances, health, medication safety, Substance Use Disorder, emotions, and pressures.
- 4th Grade: Eight lessons focused on the body, brain, the brain on substances, health, medication safety, Substance Use Disorder, emotions, and pressures.
- 5th Grade: Eight lessons focused on the body, brain, the brain on substances, health, medication safety, Substance Use Disorder, emotions, and pressures.

Cost
At this time, the Emily’s Hope Addiction Prevention Curriculum is available at no cost to schools for the 2023-24 school year.
Student Books
Each section will be provided one student book free of charge. Additional books will be available for purchase (pricing varies, but ~$10 per book). We’re also working on an e-book version that we plan to offer initially free of charge as well.
In-Person Assembly
The 5th grade curriculum has a bonus lesson where Angela Kennecke shares her story. This will be virtual, but can be done in-person for a fee.
What’s the Catch?
No catch. We do ask in exchange for the free lessons, administrators provide some basic demographics. In order for teachers to gain access to the Teacher Hub, we require them to administer a survey prior to the lessons. The same survey will be administered after the lessons to measure success.
